I use to go to this school I loved it now I'm at a new boring school at James Hurst I was better that ever
Im a kid I went there the principal was nice k-4 wth me and then when I got to fifth grade she changed first she only believes what girls say and then she said that black boys always lie and she tried to make me say something I didn't do and she sucks as a principal I'm gonna be honest the vice principal should have been head principal that principal was the worst and so lazy and always had something to say but Neve had proof
James Hurst is an awesome school my son was having problems and Mrs Whitley the principal called me in for a meeting and worked with me and my fiance to make sure my son got on the right path and thanks to her he did and is still doing a great job in school he is in second grade and making honor roll

I went to this school as a child; from pre-k all the way up to 6the grade. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!! I went through the good and the bad. Through it all though I had a great time. Played football every morning before school opened the doors. I was there when we had a school song and our first principal was a cool Caucasian man. Then we got Mrs. Whitley
Teachers do their best but Mrs. Whitley the principal is not qualified to gather pigs for slaughter at Smithfield packing. The classrooms are over crowded they do not have recess for the children and the kids have to eat breakfast and lunch in their class rooms. There is not a perfect attendance award at the school. Children are not recognized for the abilities. Children are made to stand in the pouring rain because Mrs. Whitley refuses to let them in. School n ever Lets in or out on time its whenever. So this school is horrible.
