Very serene setting perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city. The venue that day was one sponsored by the Elizabeth River Group, a "service day" for volunteers to help with conservation projects and a "tidy up" of the trails.
Mosquitos swarm if you don't run top speed! Otherwise a fantastic jogging and walking park
Paradise Creek is a nice place for walking, it has many trails. Great scenery, and very educational to learn about the environment.
A hidden gem. My favorite park in Portsmouth. Beautiful area with lots of educational signs to learn anout wildlife. Has a kayak launch.
