Nice on the outside, But on the inside it doesn't look as nice . Nor does the inside of the study room smell appropriate to study .
Great atmosphere.
The library is really nice but a lot of books that are popular they do not have and they have some series but are missing books from the series. I wonder if they take donations that they would actually put up on their shelves. Some libraries will take donations but not necessarily put them on the shelves and instead will sell them in their book sale.
Newer library with a nice childrens area.
The location is differently a plus from their last location. However, it's not as quite. The whole setup appeared to have been given no thought. I think they missed the mark of opportunity to develop a state-of-art library for the City of Portsmouth.
I wanted to use the computer. I explained to the library personell; that i left my library card at home; but I had my Virginia Driver's License. He flatly stated " we can't give you your library card number from your account " I just couldn't understand why. In the past I've seen librarians offer a visitor card to access the computer ; or is that no longer allowed either?
