Kelly was responsible for writing my policy back in April. She neglected to add rental car coverage as I requested when I originally purchased insurance with State Farm. I was a prior Allstate costumer with no complaints. I only switched because of my husband and I purchasing a home. State Farm offered a better rate for all 4 cars and our home by $15. At the time of us switching I didn't have a car to add because I had totaled my car and was in a rental from Allstate until I was able to find a new vehicle. Once I found my car I stressed to Kelly I wanted the exact coverage I had with Allstate. Coverage consisted of "full" coverage, comp, collision, 25k for damages to property, and all other bells and whistles. I asked about rental and she insured it would be added also. Being that I was already with a great company and had just needed a rental for an accident I was found at fault for I made sure it was a request. My new car was added in May. Moving up to date I was just in an accident and found out Kelly didn't add my coverage as I asked. I was told they can't retro activate the request even though the representative did not fulfill my request initially. I am fully aware mistakes happen however my trust was with Kelly and I am completely disappointed with the way matters were handled. Beth did inform me that she had went over the policy with my husband in the past months and nothing was mentioned about my 2014 Acura having the same as his 2009 Infiniti. Had Kelley been more attentive to my concerns and request this mistake could have been avoided. I wish I would have stayed with Allstate and my 50$ deductible with rental and full coverage. This is the worst way to find out that your policy is incorrect.
